We use Firebase as our data storage solution. Your information is stored securely in Google Cloud Platform's infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • Firebase Authentication for user management
  • Firebase Firestore for data storage
  • Anthropic's Claude API for generating date ideas
  • Google Serper API for image searches
  • Twilio for SMS messaging services

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Service. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us at emailplumeria@gmail.com. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7. Premium Users

For premium users, we store additional information including premium status activation date and related transaction details. Premium users receive additional benefits including increased usage limits.

SMS Service Consent

Our SMS service is an optional way to interact with Plumeria. You can choose to use this feature by texting our number, but it is not required to use our main service or app.

Explicit Consent for SMS: When you initiate contact with our SMS service by texting our number, we consider this an explicit opt-in to receive reply messages related to your specific request. Your first message to us serves as your express written consent to receive SMS responses from Plumeria.

How Our SMS Service Works: If you choose to use our SMS service, you can text something like: "Date in San Diego with budget $50" to our number.

Message Frequency & Costs: Our service sends messages only in response to your specific requests. We do not send promotional or marketing messages to this number unless you separately opt in to receive such communications. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier.

SMS Data Collection: When you use our SMS service, we collect and store your phone number, the content of your messages, location information you provide in your requests, and date/time of your interactions. This information is used to provide you with personalized date recommendations and improve our service.

Additional Marketing Messages: If you wish to receive promotional messages or updates about Plumeria, you must provide separate express written consent. This can be done through our website or app where you can check an unchecked box indicating your consent to receive such messages.

Opt-Out Instructions: You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by texting "STOP" to our number. For assistance, text "HELP" or email support@plumeriadate.com. Opting out of SMS messages does not affect your ability to use our main service or app.
